Job description

The Mechanical Engineer is reponsible in:

-All fabrication works.

-Developing operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Liaise with supervisors for work flow arrangement and operation planning.

- Monitor production schedule based on job priority (delivery due date) and report to Head of Sections for any other arrangements if the production works is behind schedule.

- Ensure all Cylinders, tail Lift etc quality, performance and specification are compliance to client’s specifications/requirements.

- Perform incoming raw material quality inspection for all Cylinders, Tail Lift etc. To report to purchase on any defective items.

- Liaise with the Sales Dept, Sales Support Dept and Technical Dept for all matters pertaining to Cylinder, Tail Lift etc.

- Initiates and recommends procedures to increase production output by practicing lean manufacturing.

- Raise purchase request whenever necessary on outsource plate cutting, replenish plate’s stock level, purchase of raw material, etc.

- Extract design drawing and prepare cutting drawing for CNC cutting machine.

- Identify plate thickness to be cut and prepare nesting drawing to minimize plate wastage.

- Control and monitor plates usage and prepare summary report accordingly.

- Ensure department’s activities are compliance with ISO 9001: 2015 procedure implementation.

- Perform any other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the superior.

Skills & Experience:

- Good knowledge and minimum 2 years’ working experience in related field.

- Able to work independently and resourceful with good initiatives.

- Good interpersonal & communication skills.

- Knowledge of general computer, hardware and engineering software applications will be an added advantage.

Qualifications:

- Possess minimum Degree in related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Salary: RM2,500.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
