Requirements:- Degree or Diploma in any engineering field
- Minimum 2 years working experience in New Product Introduction, Design & development or Process Engineering however, fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Good command in Bahasa Malaysia & English written & spoken
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
- Able to multitask & work under minimum supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
NPI & Process Engineer Responsibilities:
1.New product introduction
2.Preparation of Man, Machine, Material, Method, Environment, Jig and Program of new product until mass production.
3.New product stability monitoring when start mass production
4.Manufacturing productivity, quality, cost & delivery monitoring and improvement.
Scope of Duties
NPI
1. To establish the product process method based on the assembly method from Japan.
2. To prepare 4M of new product until mass production. i) Man: to train manufacturing operator and engineer ii) Machine: to make machine condition iii) Material: to estimate and prepare material use during training and after mass production iv) Method: establish, manage and update standard working procedure for new product (including movie if necessary)
3. Liaising with Japan on the adjust of jig/tools/fixture of new product
4. To monitor and confirm the stability of new product after start mass production.
5. To estimate the risk assessment of new product introduction until mass production.
Quality
1. To investigate and analyze for the root cause when abnormality happen and come out the solution to solve it.
2. To issue or revise procedure when 4M change or new technology introduction and make sure manufacturing is understanding and following it.
3. To control and monitor for 4M change.
4. To extract risk of manufacturing operation.
Productivity & Cost
1. To improve productivity by promoting standard and simple work.
2. To develop new manufacturing technology and processing method.
3. To improve the accuracy of machine.
4. To introduce new technology and to develop new device and jig tool
