Job description
Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned. Works collaboratively to identify innovative and effective solutions for customers and staff.
Participates in program project planning, development, and implementation: 20%
Reviews and evaluates information on AES system requirements and testing activities to identify gaps in resources and recommend improvements: 20%
Initiates, coordinates and facilitates meetings with all parties involved in projects: 15%
Prepares and submits meeting documentation to senior management outlining actions and identifying impacts to the overall project and success: 10%
Develops tools and presentations for projects related to AES: 10%
Studies and analyzes operations, system processes and problems, and prepares reports of findings and recommendations. 10%
Requests system and program data and analyzes and prepares or assists in the preparation of administrative reports and specialized research projects: 10%
Performs related work as assigned: 5%
Knowledge of project management tools and techniques as it relates to the Agile methodology.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws relating to the program area.
Knowledge of public administration and management techniques; statistical analysis processes; and program planning and implementation.
Knowledge of state processes related to AES and automated systems used to support those processes.
Ability to manage multiple tasks requiring flexibility in work prioritization in order to meet deadlines.
Ability to gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts; devise solutions to problems; prepare concise reports; develop and evaluate policies and procedures; and foster a collaborative team environment.

5 years experience working with TIERS Suite of Applications or LTC Technologies
5 years experience working with state and federal laws and regulations relevant to eligibility determinations for HHS programs.
5 years experience with Texas Works, MEPD, or CCSE programs preferred
5 years experience in written communication, strategic planning and executing complex programs, rules, regulations, policies and procedures
Bachelor's degree preferred
