Position Summary
Principal Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervise Laboratory Technicians.
- Motivate and display leadership by displaying Teleflex Core Value.
- Overseen Laboratory Activities and Testing. Develop successor to plan supervise and verify all the Laboratory Activities and Testing.
- Review and Control Testing Requisition Forms before and after Testing.
- Control Testing Samples in accordance with waste management and samples dispositions from Testing Requisition Forms and Testing Protocols.
- Responsible for equipment calibrations, maintain the system and correspondences. Develop successor for calibration.
- Coordinate Internal Calibration Activities.
- Collaborate in failure analysis and testing failures.
- Maintain all measuring and testing equipment in good condition.
- Support qualification / validation activities for process validation and product validation, including product and process testing.
- Maintain 5S, protection to environment, ensuring safety and healthy in laboratory at all time.
- Coordinate ordering of new testing tools/ jigs/ fixture and qualification prior to release to process owner.
- Perform Installation Qualification, Test Equipment Equivalency and Test Method Validation (Measurement System Analysis) for Measuring and Testing Equipment prior release to process owner.
- Overseen and maintain the Preventive Maintenance Program for Measuring and Testing Equipment (Plant wide).
- Involve in CAPA, Cost Improvement Projects and Proactive Quality Projects as required.
- Escalate and communicate Quality Issue to superior on timely manner.
- Perform any other relevant and related responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time as required by superior.
Education / Experience Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in technical, mechanical field or equivalent science discipline with minimum 2 years working experience in QC/QA department.
- Diploma holder in technical, mechanical field or equivalent science discipline with minimum 4 years working experience in QC/QA department.
- Working experience in Laboratory and / or medical devices industry
- Working Experience in Calibration Activities
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
- Preferably with ability to conduct Air borne particle measurement, micro-organisms measurement, bio-burden and Analytical Method Validation.
- Preferably with knowledge in statistical analysis.
- Must be able to communicate fluently (written and verbal) in English and Malay Language.
- Meticulous at work and result oriented.
- Conduct IQ, OQ and PQ for Process Validation.
- Test Method Validation for Measuring and Testing Equipment.
