Title: Radiology Technician
Location: Rancho Mirage, CA
Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Days

Responsibilities may include but not limited too:

Radiology Technician Responsibilities:

• · Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
• · Follows ALARA guideline.
• · Utilizes proper radiation protection to protect patient and all from excessive radiation.
• · Demonstrates knowledge of patients age-specific need and provide the care needed.
• · Obtains appropriate medical history before patient examination and prepares patient for exam.
• · Documents any changes in patient condition using appropriate forms and contacts Radiology RN or appropriate person when necessary.
• · Keeps patient informed of any delays, and answer any questions pertinent to exam.

Prioritizes stat procedures, organize patient flow and keep communication with staff, when working in the Emergency department.

• · Demonstrates knowledge of O.R sterile field precautions.
• · Performs Radiographic procedures of highest technical quality. Performs appropriate procedures as ordered.
• · Assist Radiologist performing procedure.

Experience:

• 1 year minimum Rad Tech experience

Certifications and Licenses:

• BLS - AHA
• Fluoroscopy Certification
• Radiologic Tech National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
