R&A CPAs is assisting one of our clients, a large Tucson Manufacturing company, in the search for an experienced HR Recruiter/Generalist. This position will be 100% in-office at the Manufacturing companies' headquarters on Tucson's westside.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Recruit, interview and administer all job-related candidate testing, as well as recommend applicants or employees to fill vacant positions
  • Scheduling interviews for department managers and assist in preparation of interview questions
  • Experience with ADP including its ATS or proficiency with similar HR software
  • Collaborates with department managers to define department needs and if needed, hiring strategy.
  • Screen applications and recommend qualified candidates.
  • Tracks status of candidates in the Applicant Tracking System (ADP) and respond with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
  • Assists with the administration of all company benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Facilitates the preparation of the performance review process. Works closely with Management to ensure that performance reviews are timely and complete.
  • Maintain and revise current job descriptions as needed.
  • Maintain employee files for the Department to include records in connection with new hires, promotions, performance evaluations, awards, warnings, and terminations.
  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation. Conducts exit interviews to determine reasons for separations.
  • Maintains a satisfactory attendance and punctuality record.
  • Other duties may be assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3 years recruiting experience; manufacturing experience a strong plus
  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma. A Bachelors in Business or Communications a plus, can use combination of education and experience
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written and computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with above average Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
