Job description
Sales Coordinator is based at KLoé Hotel, reporting to the General Manager. Mainly in charge of the overall support of events and other revenue-generating activities for the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and creating new event sales leads.
- Attending inquiries, planning, organizing, and overseeing special events and activities at the hotel.
- Coordinating & communicating with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the event are running smoothly.
- Manage all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes.
- Answer client / bookers questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates, packages, promotions, entertainment, F&B requirements, etc.)
- Ensuring accurate accounting of all charges and deposits related to each event.
- Helping to plan and execute internal events or activities.
Qualifications
- Possess at least Diploma in administration, hospitality, event management or related field.
- Certification in sales or marketing will be an asset.
- Proven experience in Event Sales & Coordination and/or in other administrative positions will be considered a plus.
- Well-organized with an aptitude in problem-solving
- Positive, cheerful with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Well-versed with administrative tools - Microsoft Office, G Suites, others.
