Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead MES Operation support team and act as MES interface for business stakeholder for system requirements gathering and day-to-day production, quality issues.

• Provide operational support, and determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

• Manage Incident and Problem Investigation management for known errors and work with IT stakeholders on identifying the best method in troubleshooting enterprise-level problems and work with IT/MES team to manage MES assets during system upgrades.

• Lead/Involve in MES system improvement project to have advanced observability across entire MES system infrastructure or new global business initiatives project align with company roadmap on latest technology various in product/manufacturing/Material Handling area.

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture on a variety of platforms – .net, asp.net, .net core, Angular JS, mobile development tools.

• Perform database objects creations and SQL performance tuning for database optimization.

• Manage system knowledge transitions to the operation team & responsible for expert-level support on global applications for manufacturing and database systems.

• Designs and develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code with unit test, and TDD methodology and high code coverage implementation in coding.

• Automate task for application testing and deployment with scripting using Azure pipeline.

• Prepares and installs solutions by determining resource specifications in various deployment platforms, such as on premises or service fabric platform.

• Manage outsourced software development work.

• Adhere to SDLC processes, standards, and compliance measures (SOx, etc.) and to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.

• Travels to global manufacturing facilities to assist in project rollouts on an as needed basis.

• Perform other assignments as required.
  

Education & Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of work experience either manufacturing systems or on software development teams using Microsoft .NET technologies.

• Bachelor/Master/PHD in Information Technology or related field.

• 2+ years of experience interfacing with manufacturing control systems, shop floor interface/automation systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), or OPC data transfer preferred.
  

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated expertise with manufacturing software architecture and execution systems.

• Strong C# development and solutions programming skills based on multi-tiered architecture using C#, XAML, ASP.NET, AngularJS, .Net, .Net Core, CSS/HTML, Javascript and experiences working in MVC model.

• Proven system solution development on Web API/REST API, Window services, Web applications, Web services, WCF/Client based application and mobile applications.

• Proven Microsoft SQL Server design and T-SQL development expertise.

• Hands on experience using Azure DevOps and Git repository, and TFS/Git CLI/UI Tool for system version control system.

• Experience working with Agile/DevOps development technologies.

• Strong troubleshooting skills on enterprise systems.

• Proven interpersonal communications, including the ability to drive projects with global team.

• Proven Organizational and Project Managerial skills.

• Experience in Service Fabric, Microsoft Azure Machine Learning, Mobile Development and Python is a plus.

• Global experience providing tier three support in manufacturing is a plus.

• Understanding networks, databases and other technology is a plus.

• Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana/Prometheus/Azure Monitor) and automated testing frameworks is a plus.
