The Sr. Application Analyst identifies and analyzes user requirements and recommends appropriate applications or modifications. Analyzes, interprets, and documents requirements for complex business problems and recommends comprehensive technology and highlights any data gaps during the initial phase of project. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Position Responsibilities:
Command of workforce management systems and the inter working relationships with other business systems including timekeeping, payroll, and Finance. Able to provide recommendations and solutions to issues requiring understanding of these multiple functional disciplines.
Participates and leads requirements analysis sessions. Able to develop design specifications for reports, application configuration and make business process design recommendations.
Participates and leads in process workflow sessions and develop workflow maps. Able to perform quality review on team members' design artifacts.
Investigates user problems and needs, identifies their source, performs troubleshooting and problem solving, and determines possible solutions.
Analyzes user project proposals to include identifying potential problem areas and recommends optimum approaches for project path.
Identifies tasks and levels of effort for the implementation of solutions.
Manages UKG release process including reviewing new features/functionality through testing of cyclical releases.
Leads system unit testing, integration testing and regression testing for enhancements, new functionality, and upgrades.
Reports project activity and status to management.
Identifies, resolves, and escalates project and operational issues.
Provides information to Education content developers as needed to support training activities.
Able to provide instruction to end-users and conduct educational events.
Coordinates with Vendors on the implementation or support of their products.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.
5 years of system analysis and/or application support experience.
Experience with application configuration tools.
Experience evaluating and interpreting end user information requirements and developing appropriate systems and/or applications solutions.
Experience recording, tracking, corresponding, and documenting resolution of user problems by means of problem reporting database software.
Ability to develop technical documentation for training, software/hardware use, user procedures, and as-required project deliverables.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
Experience with UKG Dimensions preferred.
