What will you do?
Client First & KPI
- Responsible for timely and accurate end to end processing of Corporate Action Events according to defined SLAs
Products covered: Equity, Fixed Income, Funds, Structured Notes, Equity Derivatives
- Familiar with complex Voluntary Corporate Action Events including Rights Exercise, Tender Offer and Repurchase Offer etc
- Perform QI Tax reporting which include annual reconciliation and income reclassification
- Proactive management of individual's/team's performance through KPI and stakeholder management
- Ensure that all transactions are processed in accordance to bank rule, circulars, procedures and local requirements
- Responsible for complete, accurate and timely tax reporting
Always Growth
- Developing direct reports through monthly 1-1 discussions, training, performance evaluations & reviewing Personal Development Plan
- To supervise, motivate and provide guidance for team members
- Manage team's resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization of FTE
- To act as hiring manager for the department
Risk Awareness and Escalation
- Ensure teams adhere to all control points in place
- Participates in Audit review and ensure audit queries are attended promptly
- Demonstrate clear understanding and adherence to WM escalation protocol
Change Management & Transformation
- Drives and plan support and participation in strategic initiatives, continuous process improvements, process reviews, market rules changes
- Collaborate with other teams to identify gap among processes with downstream impact
- Drives implementation of controls and processes to mitigate risks
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of working experience within relevant back-end operations. Experience in Private Banking or Wealth Management environment is an added advantage
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Experience in managing people
- Team player and possess strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Good inter-personal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Committed and responsible with a drive to ensure accuracy and completeness
Nice-to-have
- Familiarity with Avaloq system, Omgeo CTM & Alert, DTCC and Bloomberg.
- Well verse in Cantonese & Mandarin for communication with HK & SG Front Office.
- Team Player and possess strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills and High attention to details.
- Ability to work well under pressure and within timelines while demonstrating calm, logical approach to the situation.
- Good time management abilities.
