Eaton’s NAS North American Sales division is currently seeking a Hyperscale Supply Chain Manager. This position is based at our Arden, North Carolina. If residing outside 50 miles, relocation will be offered.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $101250.0 - $148500.0 a year.

What you’ll do:
Lead the Supply Chain function for Hyperscale Datacenter customers with approximately $500M in sales annually. Lead Supply Chain related functions including: materials planning, scheduling and ordering activities associated with the delivery of specific customer products, direct and indirect material purchasing, direct source material, inventory control, cycle count and warehousing. Collaborate and coordinate supply chain information across Eaton PMO and Division stakeholders to facilitate on time performance in accordance with MPA’s and other contractual obligations associated with Hyperscale Datacenter customers.
Obtains and catalogs information associated with OTP metrics for each of the 4 major Hyperscale customers for use in all supply chain functions facilitating the meeting or exceeding milestone requirements in MPA’s and other contractual obligations associated with Hyperscale Datacenter customers.- Takes a leadership role in driving actions of material acquisition accomplishing the prioritization of material allocations to Hyperscale Datacenter customers.
- Advises and directs supply chain personnel in the planning, scheduling, procurement, and inventory control of material to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels
- Manages current and future demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements
- Analyzes data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepares consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure plant/product line optimal Supply Chain execution
- Ensures correct planning parameters and transaction disciplines are utilized in order execution systems (SAP) to ensure proper order generation and inventory balances
- Review material cost and manage schedule impact of proposed engineering changes in addition to taking necessary action to ensure successful implementation and incorporation of approved engineering releases
- Meet or exceed key metrics of supplier on-time delivery.
- Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s vision, encourages continuous improvement while aligning with supply chain functional requirements (i.e.Materials Management Assessment)
- Supports SCM strategic initiatives and helps to lead related functional SCM/OpA assessments
- Supports SCM organizational capabilities and bench strength through functional excellence, training and coaching
Qualifications:
Basic Qualification:
- Bachelor of Science from accredited institution
- Minimum 7 years of related supply chain experience
- Sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without requiring company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Strong ERP system skills – AS400 (Vista) primary SAP secondary
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of ISO or Quality Systems
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
- Lean or Six Sigma application in business processes
- Ability to lead cross functional process improvement teams
- Power BI design experience
Skills:
Position Criteria:
- Full Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) and order generation process logic
- Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling purchasing, supplier selection and management, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operation and shipping/receiving
- Detailed knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to materials management
- Problem solving; ability to coach, demonstrate and drive continuous improvement processes
- Demonstrated ability to influence in a matrix organization
