JOB VACANCY
POSITION - PRICING EXECUTIVE
LOCATION - SHAH ALAM
SALARY - RM 5000-6000
5 WORKING DAYS
Assists Manager in conducting research on the rates through available open sources.
Rates & Space negotiation with Ocean Carriers for DG shipment, special cargo (OOG), UC and even RoRo shipment.
Executes the adopted carrier allocation strategy and pricing directive (NVOCC).
Monitoring price movements and seasonal price fluctuations.
Analyse, review and strategize RFI/RFQs jointly with various internal stakeholders
Work together with Pricing Manager to carry out supplier comparison (internal & external) to ensure that the Branch is receiving market competitive rates.
Support Branches on pricing matters and issue.
Maintain accurate records of all pricing and send to DMP TH Team to upload into systems.
Update the rate database and the various transport-related taxes in relevant systems.
Provide market intelligence on rate levels and market capacity to local teams based on regional update.
Initiate and drive projects in support of improving margin and efficiency of Ocean Freight Department.
Analysis of operational function performance for improvement opportunities.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
At least 5 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
Preferably candidate with the background with Air & Sea Freight.
