POSITION - WAREHOUSE EXECUTIVE

LOCATION - BATU MAUNG, PENANG

SALARY - RM 3000-4000

Job Description

• To assist the Warehouse Manager for planning and implementation of warehouse management system, record and maintain a proper tracking system for inventory.
• To oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, labelling, sorting, loading/unloading and storing.
• Ensure that work instructions are being follow, orders/quantity are checked, picked and packed as per checklist.
• Identify, highlight and report issues pertaining to stock damage/inventory as at when necessary.
• Monitor container loading/unloading and routes scheduling for multiple delivery.
• Coordinate with customer, vendors and transporter to ensure on-time delivery.
• To ensure all warehouse transactions are properly recorded and updated accurately.
• To maintain proper records and documentation in place for overall warehouse activities.
• To conduct regular stock count on weekly and monthly basis for accurate inventory control.
• Issue tax invoice, accept supplier’s cost and close job.
• Perform other task as required by the Management and other job related functions as at when required.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least STPM, Diploma, or Degree in Logistics, Business Studies or equivalent.
• At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferable Senior/Junior Executive specializing in Warehouse Operations and Management or equivalent
• Familiar with warehousing and logistics documentation, including trucking, sea/air freight documentations used for warehouse receiving.
• Knowledge in port, forwarding, transportations and haulage operations will be added advantage.
• Good communication and writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good interpersonal skills and strong work commitment.
• Willing to work in long hours and under pressure.
• Able to drive forklift would be added advantage.
• Full-Time position available.
