Approved Freight Forwarders located in City of Industry, has an immediate opening for a warehouse loader to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses forklift and warehouse experience.
Hours: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
The rate of pay for this position is $18/hr.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Break down pallets in warehouse
• Utilize an RF scanner to pick orders/read pick orders (loading manifests) Load and unload containers
• Follow all safety procedures while performing heavy lifting and operating warehouse equipment
• Operate a forklift
• Attach revenue to each shipment
• Create shipments
• Create orders out of Warehouse Management System
• Close shipments once shipped
• Invoice customer at end of each month
• Communicate any discrepancies with customer
• Manage drivers with hazmat decs
• Update spreadsheet with data/info pertaining to each load/shipment
• Upload pictures into Warehouse Management System

REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:

• Have a positive, can do attitude
• Ability to work 1-10pm
• Ability to pass all company pre-employment checks including pre-employment drug screen

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of forklift experience
• An understanding of weight distribution
• Experience in Distribution, 3PL, warehousing
• Experience with RF guns/scanners

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Sit, stand, bend or crouch for an extended period of time
• Ability to lift 50lbs. unassisted
