Tri-State Trailer Sales located at Neville Island in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for a motivated, detail oriented and organized individual to join their growing team.

We are a full-service semi-trailer dealership including Sales, Rental/Leasing, Parts and Service departments. We have been in business for 37 years, and a leader in the transportation equipment sales industry.

Summary:

The Accounts Receivable/Collection Clerk is responsible for effective management of the company’s outstanding accounts and the application of payments. Part time 9:00am to 3:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares, reviews and emails monthly customer statements
• Follow up on invoices to ensure prompt and timely payment via telephone and email; escalate issues as necessary
• Document customer accounts with all communication and account notes
• Posts customer payments by recording checks, and credit card transactions
• Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices
• Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from all departments, vendors and customers
• Answering phone for part of day

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Effective verbal, written, and client management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as with teams
• Ability to maintain confidentially

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
