Who:
We are searching for a person who is outgoing and knows the wedding and event industry. Can you sit down at a table of strangers and become the highlight of the night? We want someone who is always excited to meet new people and build long-lasting relationships. Which means not only can you talk but you must also be able to listen and discover a client's needs.
What you’ll do:
Build relationships! You will attract new clients via happy hours, brunch, networking events, social media, email introductions, and cold calls. That's right, we are paying you to have fun! We want to create a personal connection with new clients and continue to charm our existing ones. If you are in the office you are not building relationships! You could almost call this a sales position, but you are really building long-lasting relationships and cultivating partnerships. This is a salaried job and NOT commission-based. Why? Because we value relationships, not the quick sale.
*This position is primarily remote, but will be required to travel to areas such as Aspen, Vail, Eagle, Summit County, and our Englewood location for in person meetings.
What we’re looking for:
- Confidence.
- Extraordinary people skills.
- Positive attitude, team player, composure, creativity, adaptability, and approach-ability.
- 1-3 years in a client service-oriented environment.
- Our clients schedule their events 24/7 therefore, you need to be able to work a flexible schedule with occasional nights and weekends.
- Strong PC skills including proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Bonus Points:
- Prior catering, food service, event planning, or other hospitality experience.
- Prior sales experience.
- Possess great attention to detail.
