The Opportunity

You will partner with senior leadership to develop human capital strategies and drive the talent agenda for our Global Delivery Hub based in Malaysia. You have a commercially focused mindset and able to relate business needs to human resources capabilities. You are a resourceful person with excellent creative solutioning ability. You will be responsible in aligning business objectives with employee management in business units. You act as an employee champion and change agent to develop integrated solutions to achieve people and business objectives and performance efficiency. You are someone at ease in navigating challenging forces in a dynamic hyper-growth start-up and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic HR business partner to the management, focused on a setting up Global Delivery Center in Malaysia and various talent agendas designed to recruit, develop and retain talent in the business.
  • Provide proactive and strategic guidance and support for compensation & benefits (C&B) planning, organizational design (OD) and L&D initiatives that align with key business strategies and initiatives.
  • Analyze trends, identify gaps, and develop solutions and programs to address people-related risks and issues.
  • Review, evaluate and monitor effectiveness of L&D programs and partner with various functional HR stakeholder to address the training needs for business units and individuals.
  • Provide performance management guidance to line managers and drive the business unit people performance.
  • Engage business leadership to roll out employee value proposition (EVP)
  • Spearhead cultural building initiatives and create a cohesive working culture in the organization.
  • Ensure a conducive working environment and partner with management to roll out employees’ communication touchpoint.

Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in relevant scope/ field within the HR function.
  • Previous work exposure in organizations with mass people management experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in a start-up or tech firm environment will be a plus.
  • Ability to understand business objectives and implement People strategies and solutions to achieve sustainable organization performance and improvements.
  • Full function knowledge of HR disciplines and have led strategic HR projects to support business objectives.
  • Experience in leading C&B, L&D, cultural building and retention related projects will be an major plus.
  • Able to apply exceptional process and project management to enable effective and cost-efficient people service delivery.
  • Strong data analytics ability to support management data-driven decisions to enable business improvement.
  • Keen sense on people assessment - ability to identify the right resource, capability and talent to achieve immediate and strategic ambitions now and in the future.
  • Strong communication skills – effectively connects employees with management, and with their colleagues.
  • Fluency in Chinese/Mandarin is preferred as you'll be working closely with our China team in this role.
