Job description

·Conduct regular calibration and maintenance on machines located within KL laboratory

·Sets up and operates machine to grind and polish edges and cut drip grooves on underside of sandstone table and counter tops: Reads work instructions written on sandstone slab.

·Ensure know the orders of production and make sure the "PRIORITY JOBS" are ran first

·Reads work ticket to define edge specifications

·Proper tray scan in and out of your area

·Must prepare frame by removing screws if necessary

·Be prepared for jobs with specified bevel and polish edges

·Light and Tension inspection, maintenance & cleaning of machine to ensure proper operation

·Be aware of problems or issues from the machines.

·Ensure equipment tools and materials on-hand are ready for work execution

·Liaise / arrange defects' rectification with relevant internal sections and others departments

·In long run able master on all the edging processes such as marking, layout, cut, fitting and QC

·Prepare the necessary documentations in relation to Lab Operation, KPI and lab safety for regulatory purpose

·Handle any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Manager

-Minimum SPM education level
