Job Purpose

• To carry out engineering design for air conditioning and related HVAC systems.
• To monitor / assist other components of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish design requirements and criteria by studying the tender specification, customer requirements, performance & functional standards, regulatory & statutory requirements, and other requirements essential to the design and development process.
• Carry out preliminary studies: Site evaluation studies, communication with specialist suppliers and gathering of additional data.
• Produce design works. This includes the generation of project specification, concepts, drawings, calculations, simulations and other technical documents throughout the duration of the project.
• Assist the Project Team in carrying out design review and verification. Upon system completion, commission the system with the Design Team.
• Comply with ISO9001 Design Procedures
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Carry out energy audit/assessment to evaluate the condition and performance of job sites.
• Provide technical support to other departments, namely Operations & Maintenance, Business Development and Contracts/Procurement.
• Participate in FAT & SAT for equipment and / or system.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year working experience in HVAC field is a MUST.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Good technical and report writing skills is compulsory.
• Good fundamental Engineering knowledge in HVAC system.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge in Autocad and Revit MEP.
