Job description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To assist superiors/ manager to review, evaluate, sourcing and negotiate with vendors to strive for best purchase price, negotiating contracts and preparing reports (e.g orders and costs).
- Monitoring all purchase requisitions for proper authorization, specification and compliance and place order accordingly.
- Ensure accurate files record in documentation and data entry of all relevant documents are updated timely in the system.
- Monitor inventory level record closely to prevent low stock level.
- Monitor order on-time delivery and responsible for logistic planning to meet the timeline requirement of our projects.
- Establish, build and maintain relationship with all suppliers.
- Responsible for the checking of arriving of stocks in terms of quantity in accordance with the required documentation.
- Communicate and liaise with Project Manager and management to be responsible for supply chain planning for materials to support our projects.
- To perform administrative and documentation functions.
- Carry out additional ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as instructed by superior from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School or SPM graduate, Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
- Minimum 2 years of administrative support experience.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proven experience working in any purchasing executive, purchasing agency or any similar role.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices, market research along with solid analytical skills to identifying the most profitable offers. Evaluating and liaising with vendors.
- Working knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and relevant materials.
- Understanding of supply chain procedures.
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in SimPro system is added value.

Salary: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
