RN Case manager

Location :
Woonsocket, RI

Duration :
13 weeks contract

Shift :
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Days, weekends and holidays
40/hrs a week

Pay Rate:
$56/hr

Job Description :

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
• Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
• Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions

Requirements:

• Licensed in State of RI
• BCLS certificate
• Min 1 year RN experience
• Bachelors in SW, M&F Therapy or related field
• CM Certification preferred
• Covid Vaccinated

Job Types: Contract, Temporary, Travel nursing

Salary: $56.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Woonsocket, RI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Case management: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Bachelors in SW, M&F Therapy or related field (Preferred)
• CM Certification (Preferred)
• BCLS Certification (Preferred)
• RN License in Rhode Island (Preferred)
