What is the opportunity?
RBC Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones. Malaysia is one of two operational processing hubs that supports Custody - Transaction Management; Settlements; NAV Production; Fund Reporting; Shareholder Services; Global Fund Platform Services; Data Service Delivery; Entitlements – income and corporate actions and Reconciliations. The country employs a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability. The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of our global operations, improve service quality via our ‘centres of excellence’ and to implement/leverage standard processes globally.
As a member of the Business Access Control Group you will be responsible to ensure Global RBC I&TS compliance with meeting its Logical Access Security Standards (LASS) through periodic application access attestations. Coordinating the Data Owner, Stewards and Application Custodians across the full I&TS application inventory to complete timely and accurate access reviews based on LASS policy, CSSF and ISAE3402 audit control standards.
You will be supporting all region, with shift hours between 11:00AM and 8:00PM.
What will you do?
Deliver timely and accurate logical access reviews across I&TS application inventory on behalf of the 1st line risk owners (Data Steward).
Oversee and deliver the tactical access management process, supported on SharePoint, excel and using macros/VBA where required
Ensure awareness and compliance to DOSA across the 1st line risk owners (Data Owner Steward Assignment) and partner with the DMO for enhanced governance models.
Compute and produce MI, Reporting and Risk Governance for the Logical access reviews and support the ongoing delivery to senior management/risk owners
Support and deliver all issue and action remediation relating to any risk, audit or compliance findings, management or operational events corresponding to application user access rights, profiles, reviews or provisioning
Answer and respond to a variety of queries from data owner, data stewards, application custodians or people managers commonly received via email or telephone.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Relevant industry experience either across Investor Services, Technology or Identity Access Management functions.
Experience in managing operational or IT processing with a risk and control mindset
Analytical thinking – Ability to break apart complex problems into component problems or issues and make appropriate decisions
Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate results and recommendations to senior management in a concise manner.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint / Excel
Nice-to-have
Change or project experience is an added advantage
Able to work independently.
Portray leadership skill.
Experience in RBC business is an added advantage.
