Job description

• Maintain vessels in safe and smooth operation, minimize downtime and ensure vessels are in excellent conditions
• Monitoring the vessel performance, shipboard maintenance and repair programmers’
• Monitoring of spare parts & stores request and inventory from vessels
• Planning in due time statutory and classification surveys to maintain the validity of statutory and classification certificates
• Conduct regular vessel inspections
• Overseeing fleet compliance with current and future legislation and standards
• Thoroughly investigate failures or damage incidents and report accordingly
• Keep senior management appraised of the operational status of vessels
• Other work assigned by superiors from time to time
